Mattress Bagging, Compression, Folding & Roll Packing Machine

A fully automatic mattress packing machine—an integrated packaging line with auto bagging, compression, folding, and roll packing to boost efficiency and cut shipping costs.

Core Functions

Continuous Packaging Workflow

Continuous Packaging Workflow
Designed for nonstop operation—once the first mattress is bagged, the next can be loaded immediately. This seamless workflow supports up to 100 mattresses per hour, optimizing speed and efficiency across all packing stages.

Touchscreen Panel PLC Control System

Touchscreen Panel & PLC Control System
Equipped with a SIEMENS touchscreen and integrated PLC, this system offers stable, intelligent control. Operators can quickly set parameters, adjust belts independently, and choose from multiple modes—such as bagging only, compression only, compression + roll, or compression + fold + roll.

Auto Bagging System

Auto Bagging System
Automatically centers each mattress to minimize film waste. It begins with PE or bubble film wrapping, followed by a stretch film tunnel that tightly seals the package—delivering secure, compact, and efficient wrapping every time.

Hydraulic Compression System

Hydraulic Compression System
Applies up to 100 tons of force to flatten mattresses into a uniform thickness. This ensures consistent compression across different materials, enabling faster, more reliable packing with minimal rebound.

Strong Sealing Bar

Strong Sealing Bar
Features a high-performance heat-sealing unit that creates airtight closures on PE or PVC bags. It effectively prevents air leakage and protects the mattress from dust, moisture, and deformation during storage or transit.

Intelligent Roll Pack System

Intelligent Roll Pack System
After folding, the mattress enters the roll pack system where it's automatically wrapped with stretch film. The system adjusts the roll diameter based on mattress size, and preset targets can be set via PLC to ensure precise, consistent, and compact cylindrical packing.

Rotating Table & Fold System

After compression and sealing, the mattress is conveyed to the rotating table, which turns the long side for alignment. The fold system then automatically folds the mattress in half before roll-packing, significantly reducing the final roll height for a more compact, space-efficient package. Folding is optional and can be enabled or disabled through the control system.

Description
Automatic Mattress Packaging Line

AUTO BAGGING, COMPRESSING, FOLDING, AND ROLL PACKING

This automatic packaging line is designed for bagging, compressing, folding, and roll packing foam, latex, and pocket coil mattresses into compact cylindrical packages—reducing volume by up to 92% to optimize storage and shipping.

Ideal for mattress manufacturers looking to streamline their packaging process, this machine automates every step—from auto bagging to final roll packing—eliminating the need for manual labor and creating consistent, space-saving results. Whether the goal is to reduce shipping costs per unit, enhance warehouse efficiency, or prepare mattresses for direct-to-consumer or retail distribution, this system delivers.

Mattresses are conveyed, wrapped with film, compressed, sealed, folded, and rolled—all automatically. With multiple packaging modes available, including autobagging only, compress and roll, or compress, fold, and roll, manufacturers can choose the best method for their product and market.

Built for long-term industrial use, the machine features a rugged structure, a user-friendly touchscreen PLC interface, and reliable SIEMENS electrical components for precise, efficient operation. It’s engineered to increase packaging output while significantly reducing labor demands.

Two types of film are used during the process. A polyethylene film in the compression stage locks the mattress in its flattened form, while a stretch film is applied during the roll cage stage to maintain the rolled shape and finalize the packaging. These films are available through KIMKOO.

Most foam and latex mattresses are compatible with compression packaging, as well as pocket coil mattresses without wire rims. Since every mattress construction is unique, the best way to confirm compatibility is to arrange a test with KIMKOO by sending a product sample to their facility.

Shipping & Delivery

Shipping & Delivery

When you plan to ship goods from our factory to your location, there are a few important aspects to consider in terms of transport options, delivery times, costs, and payment methods. Here is an overview of the shipping process:

Shipping & Delivery

Shipping Ports and Delivery Timeline

Our nearest export port is Shenzhen Port. Depending on the destination port, the shipping duration can vary. You can inquire with your freight forwarder to determine the exact transit time and costs from Shenzhen to your port. For general reference, shipping by sea typically takes anywhere from 10 to 45 days, depending on the distance, shipping line, and specific routes. We also have established partnerships with reliable freight forwarders, but you're welcome to work with your own agent if you have preferred contacts.

Shipping Methods: Sea Freight, Land Freight, and Air Freight

Ocean Freight
Land Freight
air transport
1. Sea Freight

Sea freight is the primary shipping method we use because it is the most cost-effective and reliable option for transporting large or bulk machinery. No matter which country you are in, sea freight can usually reach a nearby port—even if the local sea transport infrastructure is limited or less efficient.
Once the shipment arrives at your destination port, the shipping line will notify you to pick it up. You can simply ask your local forwarder or customs broker to handle the port clearance and truck the machinery back to your factory.

2. Land Freight

For customers within China, we typically ship machinery by land freight, including heavy trucks, semi-trailers, or railway transport.
For overseas customers, land freight is only possible if your country is physically connected to mainland China. While trucks and semi-trailers can generally transport machinery only up to the border, the key factor for cross-border delivery is whether a railway route exists to your country, or at least to a nearby transfer point where the cargo can then continue by truck into your region.

3. Air Freight

Air freight is generally not suitable for our machinery because the equipment is too large to fit into standard cargo planes. Even if the size allows, the shipping cost would be extremely high and impractical.
Instead, we use air freight mainly for shipping documents (such as B/L copies, invoices, packing lists) or for sending small spare parts, accessories, or consumables that customers may need urgently.

Types of Containers for Shipping

  • Less-than-Container Load (LCL) – Shared Containers: Smaller equipment may be shipped via LCL (Less-than-Container Load). This method allows multiple shipments from different customers to share the same container, reducing costs. However, fumigated wooden crates are mandatory for LCL shipments, as per international regulations, to protect against pests and other environmental risks.
  • Full Container Load (FCL) – Dedicated Containers: For larger machinery, FCL (Full Container Load) shipments are the preferred method. This includes both 20-foot containers and 40-foot containers, depending on the size of the equipment. Choosing the right container size is critical to optimizing shipping costs and ensuring safe delivery.
