The compression & roll packing machine for mattresses, foam, and sofas (economy model) is designed to compress and tightly roll-pack foam, latex, and pocket coil mattresses into compact cylindrical packages—reducing volume by up to 90% for easier storage and more efficient shipping. For taller or bulkier products such as foam blocks, stacked foam layers, and sofas (including foam or pocket spring-based structures), a customized version of the machine is available to meet specific packaging needs.
This cost-effective solution is especially popular among small and medium-sized mattress manufacturers. It efficiently handles all mattresses with rebound properties and offers a practical, space-saving packaging method for storage, transportation, and retail distribution. Combining affordability with reliable performance, it supports e-commerce and boxed mattress delivery models with consistent, professional packaging results.
This packaging solution integrates a JK-C1 mattress compression machine with an JK-R1 mattress roll packing machine to create an affordable, streamlined mattress packing line. While it does not include a conveyor, its manual operation is simple and effective—making it ideal for manufacturers seeking low investment with high return.
Packaging Process
- Manual Bagging: The process begins by placing a mattress into a custom-sized PE or PVC bag.
- Compression & Sealing: The mattress is compressed into a flat, dense form. A high-performance heat sealing system then creates an airtight seal to prevent rebound and air leakage.
- Manual Transfer: After sealing, the compressed mattress is manually moved to the roll packing unit.
- Roll Packing: Using electric-driven single-axis rotation, the machine rolls the mattress into a tight cylinder.
- Final Discharge: The rolled mattress is secured with sellotape and automatically discharged by a pneumatic push-out system.
- Compact Result: The final roll typically has a diameter of 28–45 cm, depending on the original mattress size and thickness—making it easy to box, store, and transport with a clean, professional appearance.
